I use 1/25 to 1/30 for panning shot

the optical viewfinder is really useful in this situation...

i swing a bit only...

 Good shots, kamwai.........esp the panning ones.....i like them~~!

Was worth standing under the hot sun after all..heee.. :)

please see http://www.photosig.com/viewphoto.php?id=80302 for your reference..hee..I like this photo as well.

Wow! Excellent panning shots!

any comments on the composition for the panning shots?

did i crop it correctly? anyway to improve it?

btw, those panning shots are taken with tripod, i found that it is much easier to pan this way and the results is also better

should i use longer exposure and pan longer to make the background even blurer?

the panning looks great. I can really feel the excitement and speed in the majority of your series.

Don't think longer exposures would do well... it will make the panning much more difficult to keep the subject in focus. Your chance of getting a sharp shot will be much less.
