Before I left Singapore, I bought a GBA SP at People's Park Complex in Chinatown. The guy told me that there's no warranty for GBA SP. I was leaving the next day anyway, so I took it and left.

However, I just noticed that there's a dead pixel on the screen. Will the local agent do something about it? It's pretty hard to find the agent where I live in Canberra though.

thanks
Matt

Some companies have pixel policies for their LCD screens. Most computer mfgrs do anyways. I'm not sure about the GBA SP. Fortunately mine and everyone I know hasn't had any pixel problems. I'm sure the serial number on the GBA would indicate the mfgr date of the item and if it is less than a year old might be under warranty anyways.

Just ask your local nintendo service rep for more info? :dunno:

I saw in Australian Nintendo's website that there is a 12 mth warranty for the SP. However, it only applies to machine bought locally. I have to take it back to Singapore for any repairs under warranty.

At nintendo.com, there isn't any Singapore website. How may I contact them?
