Does anyone have a picture of camera equipment that has been gaffer taped?
I'm just wondering how its done and what it looks like afterwards.

wow, that actually looks pretty good.
is gaffer taping done for looks, protection of equipment from bumps and scratches or prevention of people mugging u?
One of the purpose is to keep your gear prestine, new and almost virgin so that when you sell, it is like new and can fetch you $8 more than w/o gaffering.wow, that actually looks pretty good.

considering the fact that you spent $25 on the gaffer tapes...:bsmilie:One of the purpose is to keep your gear prestine, new and almost virgin so that when you sell, it is like new and can fetch you $8 more than w/o gaffering.

beware of older lens though. gaffered one of the older lens and when removing the gaffer tape. all the wordings came off w the tape. in this case it will surely fetch less then if i have not gaffered it. i understand newer lens are ok

ask him to remove the gaffer and blame him for spoiling the prints.eh just curious, so dont kill me.... what if a buyer request for the gaffer to be removed?
will you remove it for that? then what if upon removal, you realize Surge is correct, and the prints on the lens/body came off??? wah nightmare...
