Depends on the sport old sport. I've done it for a bet and the shots made the newspaper back in 1986.

well, there's always exceptions ;)

i still remember the joker a while back who proclaimed himself a skilled birding photographer with a rangefinder....... now that, i find it hard to believe, unless he had a gun too.
