Fuzzy LCD screen

My new Canon A40 has this fuzzy LCD screen, is this normal? You can see lines running across across the screen. :confused:
 

The screen is also pixelated. I rem when I test out initially, the LCD screen doesn't look like that. Me so dao mei! sighed...
 

In this case far also hv to go down. I bought from Cathay this morning.
 

does the problem happens during night shots or day shots ?

urm u gotto check with other a40 users.

Last time using my canon g1, this kinda of thing is normal during night shooting

mine is nite time the LCD damm dark

This is because ur dc is not capable to produce the correct exposure for low light condition

uh ur dc cannot take low lighting shots :D
 

if its under shelter or low light its normal to get a fuzzy lcd screen... if under bright light or sunlight the lcd should not be fuzzy...

u can oso try this... in the dark. use ur "fuzzy lcd" to focus on a lamp maybe... after taking the shot.. go review it.. it should not contain any fuzziness.. if there is then u better go change the cam...
