Hi all, I have recently purchased this lens for my canon 50D, I love the images produced by this lens, I think it's great for half body portraits and night time shooting too. The bokeh is nice and rich. However lately i've been trying to get nice full body bokeh with this lens and I just simply can't get it. do I need another lens, or I am simply doing something wrong?

any advice/input is more than welcome...thanks in advance

any pic to show with regards to what u call wrong?

with a wide angle lens, it will be hard to get a good bokeh for a full body shot. if the background is far enough, u probably be able to get a bokeh.

well, i doubt you be able to do with with the 30. hyperfocal is closer than the distance from you to subject.

i've had a little luck with an 85mm but with a 180mm, you always get it.
