Let me begin the first post with a question seeking advice.
I've been using the XE1 + 18-55 kit lens in Beijing for the past 13 days. The daily temperature has been about 2°C to -10°C.
Usually, the lens motor is really quiet. A little almost inaudible whirring. However, over the last 2 days, the motor in the lens has produced a squeaking noise. (Temperature dropped to -10°c not accounting for wind chill) A soft but audible squeaking noise which sounds like the lubricant in the motor is not enough. But that is only my assumption.
If anyone else has faced this problem, can please share your thoughts.
