Fuji 601Z or Canon A70

Hi,
I am planning to buy an higher end consumer/lower end prosumer camera.
Based on my budget, I have decided that I can buy either a Fuji 601 Zoom or a Canon A70.
Both offer similar features.
Can anyone tell me which is better?
I know f601 has this interpolated 6MP stuff but i dont really see the use of it.
Any other major difference?

Get the A70 ... uses AA batts which are cheaper than the proprietry fuji li-ion batts

Hmm if get A70 might as well top up a hundred more get Olympus C740..
cost abt 600++ fr bargaincity
got 10X zoom which is very useful.
I'm using an A70 too. Its a great camera except its quite limited in zoom. U may wish to consider it.

but c740 u have to buy the EXPENSIVE xd card

thanks all for the suggessions.
I bought an F601Z yesterday with two batteries. Well, it is always an arguable issue that which cam is better..
With A70 I could have got a longet exposure or a better macro than F601Z but i felt F601's compact size and better image resolutions (arguable again-i dont belive in 6MP but dpreview says it compares to about 4MP) more than compensate for that.
Anyway, hope to come up with a decent gallery soon.

Guess you have quite some expectations out of my eyes and the camera. We have no doubt about the camera. but my eyes... let us see.
