Was bored so decided to try taking some fruits for my stock collection.

Fruits not as "fresh" as I want them to be.

Just make do with whatever I can

nice efforts. but quite hard to justify these for stock collection. got to make good selection of fruits.

the lighting seems to bring out too much flaws from the fruits.

The composition of the fruits look flat and the fruits does not have the 3D effect

A more dramatic lighting will give the fruit more dimension.

The 3rd pic, the lemon and the mango should be more distintive in arrangement.

Thanks for the comments.

Yeap the fruits are definitely not as "good" for stock. Basically just went to the fridge to grab some fruits to try out the lighting and positioning.

Will be heading down to the supermarket to get some better stuff.
