Freelance Photographer ?

Hi everyone. I'm still a student and i am thinking of making money out of photography. I personally own a 500D and i think i've got the basics. I've heard of freelance photographers who can earn some money by taking pictures of models for blogshops and some other very basic photoshoot.

I would like to know where to find such deals because i cant find any in this section.

Maybe try cold-calling the blogshops directly? The photography services section here is quite competitive.
