Free Basic Photography Workshop for Beginners/Newbies/Amatuers

Hi everyone,

Mr Stanley Lim is organizing a Free Basic Photography Workshop For Newbies/Beginners/Amatuers who is interested to learn more about the world of Photography. Mr Stanley Lim will have a brief opening on what is so fasinating about Photography.

Date : 29 Dec 2003
Time : 7pm-10pm
Venue : Stanley Lim Colour Centre

Max : 10 photographers with SLR/DLSR cameras with Portrait Lens. SLR lenses range from 50mm to 105mm. DSLR cameras range from 35mm to 85mm.

Reserve list : 5 photographers who wants to know more about the workshop but not intending to shoot.

Contents on the workshop:
1) Fully utilize your camera basic functions. From Program mode to Manual modes
2) Films - basic knowledge about films.
3) Camera lenses - Basic knowledge about camera lenses from wide angle to telephotos.
4) Photos - How to tell from a good and an average photos. (Pls bring some photos that you have shot before) Exposure, colours and compostions.
5) There will be a discussions session with Mr Stanley. Feel free to ask any questions about photography.

There will be a 5 minutes photo shoot session each for the 10 photographers to shoot a model which Stanley will provide free of charge.

Free beverages and finger food will be serve as well! Yummy!

Note : Those who have Pro Consumer Camera are encourage to come and join in the fun.
