Reading on a European photo website, I found this link that deals with abandoned places.

I found it very interesting and would like to share it with you guys.

http://www.forbidden-places.net/

If you knows such references, maybe in Singapore, like the Istana Woodneuk, please share?
interesting website

I won't mind spending the rest of my life on the Iberian peninsula.

4 seasons, great produce, access to amazing seafood, fabolous wines, beautiful women ...

Most of these places are not really abandonned. They have owners and usually guards that keep them.

This kind of pictures sometimes involves trespassing.

In SG, the old changi hospital is such a place. Mathilda house in Punggol is another one.

They may be more out there.

Glad you enjoyed it as well. But portugal is not so close to the pyrenees. It is a long drive.

It is like when some europeans come here and think they can quickly go to bangkok or Bali. It is close but not that close.:bsmilie:

This is the first time I hear a singaporean citizen saying that another country is too hot. I thought we were beating all the records here! :bsmilie:

Joking leh ! I remeber once in Rio de Janeiro, we reached an amazing 48 degrees celcius. I could not move anymore. I was close to the heat stroke.;( :flame:

I went under the shower qnd stayed there for a while.

The food? This is surprising as Deadpoet pointed out, they are rather good at seafood. A similarity with SG.

Same here !

A little house here in algarve, south of portugal.

I will vote for Alentejo, or a bit inland from the southern coast to avoid the massive number of tourist year round ....
