Foodie's weekend getaway in Macau

Hi guys,

Just returned from a culinary frenzy over the wkend in Macau. Well, like most SGs (with a growing popularity for DSLRs snapping pics of food), I did the same.... except i was using my new toy, the LX3 this trip.

Anyway, just wanted to share some pics of the beloved delights in Macau.

There was this argument on which egg tart was better

Margaret's Cafe on Macau island or Lord's Stow on Taipa island.

We felt that the Lord's Stow was better cos its sweeter and the crust was more crispy.

Just wondering (afterall its ClubSnap), how do i take good food pics? I realize that some of the shots are blurry outside the focus area, cos I too busy using low aperture. Is that right?

Looks damn yummy.. having used LX3 for my travel to eastern europe, i must say it's very useful esp for food photography. I tried the portugese egg tart from a small shop... but i cant rem the name.. is it one of these 2?

The crab porriage looks like the one they feature on some HK foodie show...
