A total newbie here with a newbie question. I would like to know has anyone done focus stacking of macro shots before? What are the recommended setup and settings to achieve a macro shot which is sharp all throughout?

The question was, has anyone here tried focus stacking? I had my fair share of googling on this topic, what I'm after is fellow CSers own personal experiences and recommendations as far as getting the best results (as fast as macro focus sharpness is concerned). =)
