M mrngbss Member Apr 19, 2006 349 0 16 Nov 16, 2006 #3 The instruction booklet said that you shoot press the shutter halfway down, hear the beep(focused!), then recompose. If you have the focusing 'auto' readjust, you may have been in the AI servo or AI Focus mode. Hope this helps.
