bo bian using 50mm only...dof is very shallow at f1.4....so using f5.6 instead...

Being able to capture the bee in flight is already a tough job. BG can use PS.

yes almost 45cm...away...lens minimium focus...

I had used 300mm that day too but too troublesome to handle it...

It's really hot that few days huh, my neck felt like burning under the sun. Wanted to use a macro lens & tripod initally but ends up gave up and just took snapshots with the much faster usm lens.

your are nice too...actually not so satisfy that day, but cannot tahan the hot weather...

But not up to my expectation...maybe misleading by the advertisement...I expect they form the word "Chun" with the flower...endup only form a few shape of butterflies...can't even bother to shoot elsewhere as there r a lot of tourist from India & China...instead of flower, I chose to shoot insect...Bee.
