Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here. :)

1. In what area is critique to be sought?
exposure and technical details

2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
improve techniques

3. Under what circumstance is the picture taken?
before sunset

4. What the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
i think the closed flower + dark moody background goes well together

oh man... looking at ur pic..
i become sad and feel sorrow liao... i slumped on my chair like no bones...

if that u want the viewer to feel.. than u have achieve it

I believe you cropped the photo? The composition is a little too tight. Be careful when your subject comes too close to the edge of the photograph.

1) Your title is a little too 'generic'. It does not convey any message which you can relate to the photograph.
2) The photo looks neither cheerful nor sombre. A bit 'not here not there'. Don't find the background particularly dark nor moody.
3) Focus looks a bit out. Nowhere in the photo is particularly sharp.

I thought it would be better for you to find a flower which the inside can be seen. Unless there is a purpose in shooting a flower like this, otherwise i think in shooting flower, we'd still like to see the inside. This flower looks like its going to die.
