Hi,

1. in what area is critique to be sought?

Composition and post processing.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?

Highlight the flowers from the leaves in the background and give a stronger colour to the flowers, darking unnecessary details until they fade to black.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)

Cloudy and not really "good light", original picture was rather flat. had to content with wind from passing vehicles.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture

Generally quite satisfied with the way it turned out after post processing.

Just worried that it might be too tight at the bottom LHS & the colours looking too unnatural.

Thanks for viewing. Hoping to learn and improve.

The composition: the flowers run diagonally across.
But you could tweak a bit to make them more brilliant?

Hi Eworms! Thanks for the comment! Was worried that it wasn't up to mark.

I actually wanted to push the saturation higher, but didn't want to make it "heavily processed" or look too unnatural. I also felt that the reds in the center (slightly lefthand side) were already quite saturated, so I left it as that. ;)

hi, we learn from each other.
Can leave your photo as it is then...
