Flower in the pond

Hi all,

I would like some feedback on photography techniques and comments on my picture.

My camera setting used: Nikon D80/50mm/f2.8/ISO100

Apart from cropping using Picasa, nothing else has been done.

you are using a prime lens?
Nice color!
I like the keep it plain and simple idea.
Well, maybe you can try to shot with a little lower angle to get the depth, such that the picture will be more 3D.

this is the loudest pic i have seen in recent times hereits like a tight slap for viewers attention:think:u just cant miss spotting this pic from dozens of other pics........actually one can find this pic very easily,even if we loose it in the dark its just like a neon light :bsmilie:seems like the flower is jumping right off the pic frame onto our laps........focus is on dot:thumbsup:

Thanks for the compliment. Yes I'm using a 50mm 1.8 lens.
Don't quite get what you mean by shooting it with a lower angle to get depth. Can you pls explain again? Thanks!
