I found these floating in a river in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province.
I wanted to show the frailty of the fallen leaves on the water.
Does the composition work?

Somehow, I think something is missing here, so is there anyway to improve on such shots? :dunno:

I am a big fan of rule of 3rd.
The leaves does not fall in that cat.

My attention distracted to the light on the right top as well as the leaves.
Both are screaming for my attention.

Preferably one leaf since its suppose to show a fragile. A closer macro shoot?
Another one is more of the leaves, then you got a sort of pattern.

maybe use a polarizer to cut down on the reflections of the water??

Maybe it needs a brighter background.

Thanks for all the comments. I think it's mainly because the leaves don't fall into any of the thirds.

I am sorry Xray .... but I just can't feel what you wanted your pix to portray. Maybe if the pix is in black and white and if there is only one leave with multiple holes in it ... it could probably illustrate your point better .... just my opinion :)
