Hi Pauly,

This is interesting. I was told by some that building flashlights may be fun and interesting but out of every 10 who do it for sale, 9 are making a lost. There are so many big players in the market and some of them are already at the verge of closing down. Problem is that the start-up cost of building flashlights is so high that it does not justify to sell it cheap. But if you price it high, people would rather go for Surefire and the likes. Trust me, if designing and manufacturing flashlights is economically viable, I would have ventured into it long ago.

If you are interested, you may meet up with some of us flashlights enthusiast tomorrow. Please see link bellow.

i understand that but the what i need now is to have my first fashlight built and ill sent my design to surefire or some other branded company to manufacture it. it will be a great lost if we plan to sell it out self because just by building it, it cost alot more then a surefire coz its made up from a scratch and also we dont have the capital to built it. the worse part is that building the light that i plan requires a laser cutting to get the size, shape and the look i want and also the bulb is not a normal bulb.

the bulb is a new tech named luxeon led is as bright as 60 lumen e2e flashlight. this bulb requires a circuit board to controlled the electric.

the most important part of this of this project is that, i would be able to meet the surefire standard for me enable to sell the concept of this flashlight to them. futhermore i was half way stuck on my project because insuffiicient fund to continue, but the plan is ready.
