Hi all, just wondering if there is such a thing as a flash adapter or converter that can mount a Minolta 3600HS to a D70? Dun want to spend more money on another flash lah :D ...so tot I can optimise my Minolta flash :bsmilie: .

Yeah, and in the process you're not optimising your D70.

Don't think there's such a converter, as long as the middle pin matches the D70's middle connector, it will be able to fire, and as mentioned again, there's no TTL, nothing, everything's manual.

There is a minolta shoe to normal hotshoe convertor(FS1100?). The minolta hotshoe design doesn't allow any other type of foot to mount. Though it may seem fussy, I find that its a better design than both Nikon/Canons being quick to mount/dismount as well as being secure.

However, the 3600HS will only work in manual mode and hence is not worth the effort or cost. Better to buy a new flash instead.
