Hi all,

I took this pic at Jurong Bird Park.

Camera setting is

Aperture : 5.6
Shutter : 1/60
Iso : 320

1. in what area is critique to be sought?
Anything about this photo.. exposure??

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
I want to achieve what should I do next time. And, how should I put my setting.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
cloudy day.I like nature thing.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
I think this is my best shot for animals.

Thank a lot for viewing.

Good attempt. Other than cropping tighter, you could make the colors slightly more saturated as the colored feather seems slightly dull.

TS, as mentioned a tighter crop works better for this picture. Perhaps you can try enhance the color.
I have downloaded the picture and taken a look, seems the parrot not sharp enough. I did some minor touchup of your picture and see if it works for you.

Yeah. I think I should take with big aperture. Thank you.

Yeah. I didn't do it. Thank you. Next time, I will.

Exposure is good, DOF could have been a little shallower, perhaps f/4? Maybe you can try to tighten the crop a bit to emphasize more on the bird. As for focus/sharpness, can't really tell since the image is rather small. Good attempt :)
Yeah. I took with small aperture because I want to make the background blur. That's why.
Thank You.
