Fireworks shoot on 27th Jan, 8pm

Hi all,

I will be going to the stretch of bridge along the ECP expressway to take fireworks. The fireworks is going to be set off at 8pm. I will first go to City Hall mrt and walk to the shooting site. It looks like this:

The meeting time is 6.30pm at City Hall mrt control station. Do not be late, timing is critical. Please bring along a umbrella or raincoat in case of rain as there is nowhere to run for shelter as it is quite isolated. Best is to also eat your dinner first before coming or ta bao food there.

^^ erm i thought thats the viewing point, not the firing point? firing point has always normally been from some barge floating on the bay on from the future marina bay IR site

To answer all the queries,

aloyteo: Im not sure of the exact firing point of the fireworks but you can look at this link

nmk: Yes from City Hall mrt, we have to walk there. Estimated time to walk 30-40mins.

yehosaphat: We should be on the bridge from 715pm onwards.

So from the above posts, I guess the confirmed one going are myself, cyber_monkey, wildstallion, nmk. Arowana, will you be joining us?

Once again, a reminder to all who are joining. Please do not be late. I dont know how heavy your equipment are so you have to bear with my walking speed. For myself I am used to carrying heavy loads and walking long distances already. (2.5 years in NSF combat service, armor infantry). And pray hard for the weather not to rain.
