Anyone thought of Marina south? Are the roads closed over there? I do have a place in mind, but I dun know if it is accessible. Plus I only know how to get there by walking.

My small advice based on past experience is:
1) Go early around 3PM today to chop seat at your favorite location.
2) Bring along water and other food supplies to stay alive long enough to shoot at night. It can get really hot.
3) Bring along a good Tripod.
4) Dont bring along any expensive items other than that you can carry. When it gets crowded, people's mind gets nasty. Hands can reach anywhere into your pockets and bags. Pick pocketing can happen. Be alert.
5) If you are with your girl fiends, guard them first, as well as your camera.
6) Don't get into hustle or arguments with anybody there. People from different nations will be around, and there will be very few Police among the crowd. Be alert.
7) Shoot good pics. Try to post it in CS to inspire others.

Hi guys, i came to Singapore just recently so do not know these events. Can you help me clear these things:

1. Is the firework festival held in two contiuous day 22 and 23? Are the 2 displays the same (should i come both days or 1 is enough?)

2. Is it ok to go without tickets? What are the benefits of having tickets?

3. What time does the firework start on 22 and 23 ?

Thank you so much :D
