Just because she's an actress does not mean that she can't take photos.

Why are we so quick to assume?

Agree.

They are well exposed to the commercial shooting environment, thus it would be easier to pick up those...

it must be the way her shirt is straining apart alluringly......

She was from NUS, and I know people who are in the same batch as her

Hey if Fiona Xie goes into photography then it sounds like photography's pretty glamorous which is good for the photo industry and people will be more willing to pay for photography right?

Anyway it's her life, she's got the looks and the luck and what's the big deal with her leaving?
I'm surprised the article sounds so sensational.

you guys are very humourous

she's a bad actress...

No really lar..but i will miss her bimboness, her figure..etc.. :bsmilie:

Anyway we shd wish her all the best..

totally agree

why give up a 40k/month job???

And if Fiona is really that bad, she'll can just hire a school boy to do them and buy over the copyrights and claims-

maybe get the school boy wannabe photographer a TFCD or a one-on-one paid shoot !

She has a very nice cover pix on 8 days announcing her move.

very very very very very surprised to hear she gets $40k / month income.
she doesn't have many shows nor ads. how come?
if so, jeanette aw will be > $100k/month?

By looking through this thread I can only shake head about the mentality of some of the members here. Let me ask: what ground do you have to make such discriminating remark that Fiona will not make it as a professional photographer? Is it because she is a celebrity? Is it because she is a lady? Or simply because she has a rich boyfriend? Have you seen her work? If you have not, how can you be certain that her work is not better than many of yours? And why can't she leave her current job to pursue her interest, like many of us did?
