just because it uses the Bushmastser you can't relate it to the Bradley. Even the Ultra has a version with Bushmaster canon.

road wheels? there are only so many ways to configure the road wheels.

I would suggest that one can only say the BX is a Bradley derivative if it is modified from the Bradley design, which should primarily be the basic armour configuration, i.e. composition and shape.

Does anyone know if the Bradley have the same armour as the BX? I heard that the Primus was based on the Bradley chassis but the BX was not. However I cannot tell if the source is reliable or not.

Agree that the BX is extremely to drive. YOu only need a civilian class 3 equivliant to pilot the machine.

Also, if you are to look at it carefully, the road wheel set together with the sprockets and tacks are Bradley similar, Get what i mean?

also, the waepon system, BUshmaster 25mm(m242)canon, which has been upgraded to 30 mm is also from the bradley.

Check it out man!!

By the way, i'm cross trained on only A and B platforms, specialising mainly on B platforms.

Cheers!!

Hmmm.... I thought the bradley's armour was quite vulnerable to RPG rounds.... unless you bolt on reactive armour. Also the local version does not seem to have any flotation kit (like in the old M113).;p

Yes, the 30mm does pack quite a punch. But it wouldn't do any good against a barrage of MLRS from up north....;p

Wah how come can discuss about Tempest so openly?

Well you are not suppose to do.  There suppose to have a jail sentence hanging over people who know about them in detail if they were to discuss them in public by Mindef. Then again you can read them all in JANE.

Primus is based on the M109 Paladin chasis

This is good news. Our armed farces will have a bigger pinch than our neighbours. This will be a good disturbance to our invisible enemies in our mist.

Err they have PT-91M for many years. In fact they have MBT all the way since 1997 or 98. So the leopard II just balance thing up;)

Only thing missing are some good anti-tank missiles on the turret.

I think leopard II A4 is one of those buys they have done right. I personal felt MBT tanks are tactic of the pass. Almost any infantry section can take out a tank on the future battlefield, attack heli is another treat will have tankie full with fear and now the anti armor round is so effective the tank have to use reactive armor with is in fact explosive pad to redirect the anti armor round away from the armor.

But if you want them then you should get the best. The leopard II A4 are there. Good main gun, good operation range, good armor and build by people who in history know how to build them.

Why i said that the BX is based on the M2a2 Bradley is based on the training that i have received. The M113 with the M2a2 you are refering to is the M113 OWS copied from a good friend of ours.

yes. the BX has got flotation kits.

Primus is as you have said based on the M109 pladdin. In fact, i think the project was started when i was still in sec 2?

Cheers!!:)

Sorry guys. any one teach me how to use imageshack? I just finish one IDF magach 6b and would like to post it here for sharing.
