Filter usage

I know of people who do not use any filters, not even protective or polarizer, because they say the image quality will be compromised.

I am curious to know if there are alot of them out there

Maybe protective filter, yes. There is some concern.

However, for polariser, ND and GD, you got to use them or you can't even get that shot.

The person I know don't even use polarizer, but he is a real good photographer. Seen some of his pics.
