Try this:

Get a insulated rubber wire thick enough to cover the entire filter thickness. Hold lens with one hand, wrap the entire wire tightly around the filter using your right hand, and twist.

You must be too weak. Ask someone stronger to help you. If the filter never kena SuperGlue or some substance, I am sure can be removed. Like someone Mentioned. Using rubber band is a good idea. I have encounter filters that is very tough to scew out. Sometimes using the soft way, (Gentle) is better than hard way (Force).

Some filters can be remove using light pressure or stubbon if you using force.

i dun have big rubber.. but i use my fan's wire.. very useful~

you can use those non-slip rubber mats for opening jars and bottle caps.

i'd be careful with a filter wrench. if you grip to tightly, you could damage the filter instead.
