???Film SLR body load with digital memory card ???

Is there currently a product that allows images to be capture digitally in a Film SLR body ?

eg in replace of the area where we load the film, a digital medium is loaded in replace of that , n then all images capture digitally in a slr body..

or is this just a wishfull christmas thot :bsmilie:

A few years ago, a company in US came out of a prototype of digital back for Nikon F5 and FM2, which has to replace a camera backcover, but later no news at all, seem it doesn't work, maybe that idea don't sell at all.

leica ley, think this brand suit for those super rich not for me hahahaha,
guess that other camera maufacturer will not be looking at this option for the film slr users, cause they can make so much from those from their digital range now.

Yeah! Read that the cost of the Digital Back cost as much as a DSLR body. So, no market for it as DSLR will be more cost effective & less maintenance required.
