Hi,
I have a D90, this is around 2.5years old and I have been using it occasionally. Recently, I encountered that the shutter will jam and will not close.
I changed to all different shooting mode and the problem persisted. I also took out the battery and that did not solve the problem.
The shutter will open when I press the shutter release, and jam. I need to switch on, and off the camera and then press the shutter release again for the shutter to close.
The error shown on the display is "Err"
Have anyone tried the camera repair link above? I called them and they seem to have good understanding of the problem.

Any feedback on TECHNOFIED VISION?

Thanks.

MS

not exactly related to this thread... My guess is that your shutter needs replacement. how many shots/shuttercounts have you used on the D90?

but why don;t you bring the d90 to nikon for an assessment? A shutter replacement should be less onerous compared to assessment for water damgae

Sorry for hijacking this thread.
I only use my D90 occasionally, I would not think that I reached even 10K, based on the total number of pictures saved.
I have also changed lens and SD cards, but the problem is still there.

I need feedback on Technofied as this is nearer to my office.

Thanks.

Hello?
Have anyone been to this repair place before?

Thanks.

MS

The silence means "no".

Why not send your cam to fatigue? I trust him with the bulk of my servicing needs.

I'm not aware of this Technofied Vision camera repair shop, upon Google search, they says they repair PC, notebook, and also repair and maintain Marine Equipments / Marine Satelite & Radio Communication Systems.

are they also specialise in repairing cameras that I really have no idea.

Perhaps you can send your Nikon D80 to them for repairing, and post a review of their service here, I'm sure Technofied Vision and our members will really appreciate that.

Hope this help.

btw, I go to Nikon Service Centre or our bro fatigue.

Low battery? I encounter a similar problem in D7000
