Here are some quick fashion shoot with Ervin.. As usual C and C's are most welcome for improvement..

Stobist Info: Vivitar 285HV in DIY softbox at camera right, Sunpak 433D bare at camera high right behind Ervin as kicker light and another Vivitar 285 (with red gel) at camera left behind...

i think it's a little too dark for my tastes (well just my opinion really - others may think differently)

sorry for digging - how do we avoid the reflections of the softbox other than telling the model to change positions?

Either you re-position the model (head tilt up or down or to the side)

or you re-position the lights.

yes, i understand the existence of these 2 methods, but they're both hit and miss since you can't really see the reflections from the viewfinder. i'm looking for more concrete methods like maybe using CPL filter to polarise reflections of glass ( of course it doesn't work in this case ). what other ways are there?
