Fashion Photography Course

This course is designed to enable the participants to develop lighting techniques for glamour, beauty and fashion photography. The syllabus covers lighting techniques for both indoor and outdoor location shoots. There will be sessions where models are hired for the shooting sessions.
Participants must have the basic knowledge of studio lighting (i.e. attended the Studio Lighting Course).
Course Syllabus
Module 1:
Introduction Fashion Photography Equipment / Lighting Rations / Effects of Soft & Hard Light / Lighting Methods / High Key / Glamour / Mood / Styling / Makeup
Module 2:
(1 session) Studio Practical Session (with model)
Module 3:
(1 outing) Outdoor Practical Session Shooting with Natural Light / Modifying Lighting on Location
Module 4:
(1 session) Studio Practical Session (with model) / Photo Critique / Course Wrap-up
Assessment
Upon completion of the course, participants are required to submit a set of six 8 x 10 or 8 x 12 mounted prints for assessment. Course certificates will only be awarded upon successful submission.

Duration : 4 weeks (3 hours per session)
Time : 2.30pm to 5.30pm weekends (except outings)
Fees : $170 (member) $270 (non-member)
