Timing is everything. Long lens, right place, right time. Not every well taken image is due to post-processing.

for soccer photos, Pgs usually have to use fast and long lens to achieve the subject isolation... on Tevez...

I was wondering how about the rich-ness of the color?

Any signs of editing?

I know hw to edit it on photoshop software but not sure about direct from the lens.

Depends on your camera settings, like in Canon's Picture Style.

Either increase saturation and contrast or do it in Photoshop.
