Timing is everything. Long lens, right place, right time. Not every well taken image is due to post-processing.

for soccer photos, Pgs usually have to use fast and long lens to achieve the subject isolation... on Tevez...

I was wondering how about the rich-ness of the color?

Any signs of editing?

I know hw to edit it on photoshop software but not sure about direct from the lens.

Depends on your camera settings, like in Canon's Picture Style.

Either increase saturation and contrast or do it in Photoshop.

this photo seems to be from soccernet. You should not be downloading it and uploading it to another website. There is copyright issues.

There is copyright issues.
Most people treat this copyright thingie like a piece of tissue, till the lawyers come a-knocking on their door.

Think have to have a sticky on the right way posting and link the works of others. We don't want CS to be known as a hive of 'pirates'.

Cheers!
