kinda sad... its like she work for nothing for so many years...
she does command a high fee for shoots, but i remember she has i think ~11 assistants during the queen's shoot, kinda crazy... maybe u can have 11 assistants elsewhere but in US, the cost would be too high...

hope she manage to survive this crisis...

earning a lot, doesn't mean that you won't get into trouble if you aren't prudent in managing your finances.

Donate?

she made it big, lived the life, screwed up, and now fans have to wipe her backside for her?

I'll pass. if i had the cash to do so, i'd rather be distributing mosquito nets in Laos or something.

GREED -that's all I can say. Don't mean to rub salt into her wounds but some people are already so rich ,they can live forever with what they have BUT must 'multiply' their wealth.

I;m saying this because my father blew all his life savings on stock after he retired n now he's almost penniless. He could have led a decent frugal life BUT..............

Where can I donate? I really pity rich people who overspent and then have no more money left to sustain their pampered lifestyle. So poor thing

Her assets worth US$40M. After paying up US$26M she got US$14M. She does not need your donation.

ACG has estimated the value of the Leibovitz portfolio at $40 million; real estate brokers say her New York properties are worth about $40 million.

Photography was once for the elite.

But not today.

No need to look too far, there're many here who are in the same plight (although they never made the first million).

News like these helps me appreciate my profession more than the fantansy of trying to be part of that elite.

This thread doesn't say how do I donate $2 to her?

Sometimes it isn't about saving up for a rainy day but being more careful and prudent about one's financial investments. In the recent crisis, the more savvy and active one was in investments, the harder they got hit. In short, it was a "punish-the-rich" session.
