Family photo

hav been asked by a client to shoot their family group photos in a restaurant.
usually i charged by hourly rate, but in this case is just the group photo.
any idea how the charges go?

is it a formal group photos session? do you need to bring studio light down?
just only one group? any other smaller groups?
what are you giving them in return? enlargement print with framing?

not much info given, how are you going quote?

if all above are none, just quote your minimum hourly event rate, even it is only a 20mins job.

no prints provided, only soft copy in a cd.

think you can charge your minimum event rate

for example, my minimum rate is two hours, even it is only needed for 10mins.

make sure u also charge the DI part. Also, most likely they will ask u print, and prepare to let them know the rates, if dunno, then abit malu on the spot.

also, 40 ppl must arrange properly. u know, when example u cahrge $150, then go down any how arrange, ppl will be angry.
