Fake canon BG-E11

Anyone seen or bought a fake Canon BG-E11 before? Saw this comparison site below.... looks like another high quality lookalike fake from China.

This listing on ebay looks a little too cheap to be true. The carrying pouch for the battery tray looks like a straight give-away

the real pouch should look like this. I know there was a sticky for fake BG-E5/6 above, now the E11 comes in too with fakes...wonder if the fake is made of plastic or magnesium alloy

isn't the site already in English? pretty poor standard of English though...

anyway where there are 2 images of the same thing/angle, the first one is the real one, the 2nd one is the fake one. The last few pics of the box/packaging where there is no repeated images, they are all the real ones

I would use the term English here in its loosest possible sense.

the ebay link you mentioned comes to about 75 pounds or US120.

so lesson is...don't by battery grips on ebay, and probably flashes too after seeing that realistic 580 EXII.

now...if one is searching for 3rd party grips, question now is how will this copy match up against the pixels/vertax/DSTE/Meike OEM manufacturer 3rd party grips haha

After 7 years, counterfeit battery grips are still going around. Just saw somebody sold a counterfeit BG-E11 in the forum. Not sure whether the buyer is aware about it.

A very good way to differentiate counterfeits vs original.
