Sharpen the eye, eyebrow, lips.
An alternative way would be to apply gaussian blur on a separate layer, then use an unsharp mask to reveal the eyes, eyebrow, and lips. It might not be the best way, but it works for me.
Do feel free to disagree with me and give me pointers as I'm still learning too =)

any tips to easily remove dark eye patches under the eye (panda eyes)? As well as eye bags?
I usually try to make the panda eyes look lighter by just brightening it with increase exposure under the eye in lightroom, but i know this isnt an ideal method (sometimes it works, sometimes it looks weird).
I do hv photoshop, but not sure what tools to use for the purpose. Can anyone give me a recommendations please.

i normally shot on landscape or event..
that's the reason i dnt have any experience about "face editing"

Not really worth the money to upgrade to CS5, unless you're referring to the 'wallet-friendly' version :bsmilie:

use what you have now to learn then consider to upgrade next time if you really need it.
youtube is a really good source of searching for a start regarding your issue. watch video is a lot better than reading text from here unless you are the text guy so good for you ;p i'm more of a practical than reading
