how do i re-touch a face photo?

you know in studios, after they took a series of shots, the final output shows usually flawless facial features, ie, no pimples, blemishes, wrinkles, etc... how can i do that using paintshop pro 7?

for an example, try to make this face smoother... heeee... :D

try to make the pimples, blemishes, stubbles, wrinkles, and "pot-holes" disappear and as professional looking as possible... :D

also post your "techniques", and how you do it... thanks!

Wah, the picture is overexposed and out of focus!! :eek:

I guess it's a combination of clones and blurs to remove those ugly spots. Usually, a blur is used at the end to produce a soft look which further de-emphasise flaws and enhance features.

quick mask mode + hue/saturation playing(fill / adjustment layer) == flawless pictures

cons:
------
u gotta be gd in ps n think of the colors ;)
Photoshop ONLY

select brush
alt + colour/area u wan
release alt
brush over the area u wan (preferbly create a new layer on top the current layer)

u can try pixel art
u take the ink dropper tool i think paintshop pro 7 has it then click on the nearest exterior area of the place u wanna touch up

then u zoom max
select the area u wan to touch up

Saw this method in the latest Digital Photo (Dec issue):

a) create a layer;
b) lazzo the face area and use Guassian Blur;
c) use eraser to sharpen back the eyes and other features that you like.
