Hi all

Can anyone recommend me any lenses (28 to 80mm) that are suitable for my Nikon F 601?

Did not get much help from Nikon or dealers...

it depends on the kind of photography you like to do, and your style of doing it. There is no right or wrong, but there is a rough guide. Wide angle for landscapes (20mm), Telephoto for portraits (I use 105mm and 200mm), normal 50mm or 35mm for street photos, some use wide angle as well. it depends on you.
Get a zoom to try out and get your preferred style.

Basically I need the lenses for street and travel kind of shots...nothing fancy.

As I have the body only and hence need to procure camera lens that supports F 601...so that it can fully compliment the F 601's functions.

maybe you should start with a good multi purpose zoom lens. Maybe a 28mm to 85mm or 135mm. And upgrade later.
