EyeOne Display Calibration for Dual Monitor

Anybody knows how to calibrate 2 monitors??
Seems like the software only allows me to have a calibration settings that affects both my notebook lcd and my monitor.. I need to calibrate them seperately.. any ideas?

You trying to calibrate your LCD output from your notebook?

You can only calibrate either one. If you meant dual output, that one is possible.

you can calibrate the lcd and monitor seperately, but can only apply 1 profile at one time
you need 2 graphic cards to apply 2 profiles
since you are using notebook, it will be impossible for to load the correct profiles for both lcd and monitor

The only way to do this is to

a) calibrate the LCD on the notebook with the EyeOne
b) calibrate the external monitor with your EyeBall - use the monitor controls to adjust the R,G,B, brightness, contrast etc (assuming your external monitor supports) to match the notebook LCD. You won't get 100% (I consider getting to even get 90% close enough but thats probably because my EyeBalls are old) but at least not glaringly different.

it's a limitation of the graphic cards today. the ability to load only 1 colour profile.
however there are certain cards like matrox which specialises in 2d graphics, they are able to load 2 colour profiles

Hmm... how to I selectively load profiles? Can't find them in the control panel or the Eye-One software...

Right click on desktop -> Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Colour Management, select the icc profile and load.

Do bear in mind if you load the icc profile for your notebook, it will reflect onto your LCD also, and if you load the LCD's it will reflect to notebook's as well.

after loading the colour profile, you might want to do a restart
i realise on the windows machines i have come across, the colour profile is not loaded immediately when you select it in display properties
only after your restart, will windows load the colour profile upon startup

I realised that all I need is to read the values coming from the eye-one display.
Then I can manuall tune the monitor's RGB values to match a color I display on the screen (using photoshop ie)..

But ... I can't find any software that just shows me it's readings..

I know it's not much help for your present situation, but just for your info, it's possible to run separate display profiles for your monitors on the mac platform.

But ... I can't find any software that just shows me it's readings..

Using Adobe gamma won't help. It must be unloaded from the startup group if you are using an Eye-1 generated profile.
