Ext Flash for both Canon G2 and Sony F7x7

Which flash should I get if I want to use it for both cameras ? I've considered the Canon 420EX but i'm not sure how well it would work for the Sony. Or is there some other flash units on the market that i should be aware of , and consider ?

I don't think you can use it for Sony 7x7.

It will need something like this.

I can't insert it into my F717 hotshoe.

So should i go with a Sigma unit or something ?

If I am not wrong, 707 can only use the SOny propriety flash F1000. THis is not a hot shoe where you can use with otherflash units.
717 has a hot shoe, but I dun use that, so cant comment.
