Hi, I'm using aperture mode with auto exposure to take some close picture with dark background behind but my photo come to be over exposure of the object that I want to take. Anyone know what is the reason and how to solve? Thanks

Try spot metering, meter on your subject :)

Check your metering. Are you using matrix metering?

I guess you must have include too much dark background in your images, your camera meter was fooled by this.

if you main subject is in mid tone, you can use spot metering and take reading from the subject.

or you can use use -ve compensation without changing the metering and exposure mode.

you can also use a graycard to take meter reading from.
