what is aperture?
What is shutter speed?
What is f1.8?

real newbie in photography.

Seem some night shots where they capture very good light effects, what do you need to achieve effects on night shot?

Thanks

f/1.8 refers to the size of the opening of the lens (aperture, read more about it above). The smaller the number, the bigger the opening.

For night shots, most important thing you need is a good stable tripod.
