Exposure for Portra 400 and Tri-x 400

Do look under the Tradition Darkroom section. A few of us have been holding informal sessions exchanging our bw darkroom prints regularly.
You mean the wet print exchange?

this is a great thread. However the information is a little all over the place since it's conversational. Is there any where i can read up on such information? Good links to share?

I've never seen nor heard about adjusting your iso in order to compensate for this or that while shooting film so this is pretty interesting. Testing on my own also require a bit of knowledge to know what i'm testing so reading up on anything about this would be great.

I am noob when it comes to film.
When you guys shoot Portra or Tri-x 400, do you shoot at rated ISO or do you overexposed or underexposed? ( assuming no pushing or pulling)?

Not sure why this topic is in the "Rangefinders" section, but I expose them at 400iso assuming the measurement is done by incident light (C=340).
