BBB!

will an expensive kitchen and wok make you dish out nice 'Chi Char' ????

Owning expensive equipment:

A good way to tell the owner he has no excuses for the lousy photos he takes.

Will an expensive Rolex watch make the wearer a pro at telling the time?

Maybe an expensive watch runs faster than a cheap one? :bsmilie:

I think both equipment and person play impt role in the photo making.

80% = No -- the person behind it is most important!!!

20% = yes -- a good camera with better CCD tends to be more sensitive in reading details
eg. colour, metering, etc

Definitely makes for expensive photos.

Or rather i should say, good equipment (not necessary expensive) + good photographer + good subject = Good photo.

they both play a part.

Expensive knives make cutting through bone so much easier....

Expensive knives make cutting through bone so much easier....

the lousy chef cuts himself deeper with an expensive and sharp knife, at least with a cheap and blunt knife, the cut is less painful

expensive equipment = good photo, ....................partially truth,

but one thing for sure, we all will laugh even louder when we see some "suck" photos come out from expensive equipment.

.

Expensive Equipment = More options to create a better photo + Skill + talent = Award Winning Photo (provided photographer submits for competition)

Expensive Equipment = More options to create a better photo - Skill + talent = Could be good photo

Expensive Equipment = More options to create a better photo + Skill - talent = Good Photo

Expensive Equipment = More options to create a better photo - Skill - talent = Lousy Photo

Expensive Equipment = More options to create a better photo - Skill - talent = Good Photo (must be lucky day)
