Hi Folks,

Anyone tried Expedia before for booking flight or hotel? Is it reliable? Any problems encountered? I find it slightly cheaper compared to booking direct or using local travel agency. But I need some insights if it is reliable.

do check that you are using the singapore version.
I made a mistake one and paid my air tickets in USD.
Luckily I managed to call the US office and they were able to cancel the booking as it was only half day ago.

they using worldpay as their payment processing.

how i know? cos i work in worldpay haha.

Definitely reliable, used them for many years, both in SG and US.

Sometimes got issues and you call the airline directly, they refuse to help and wait on the line/repeat request/argue until vomit blood. Call Expedia instead (since ticket bought through them) and they happily solve it for you. :thumbsup:
