Have been discussing with a friend.

At what instance will the exif data be erased?

1) Resizing?
2) Editing of contrast and so on????

any ideas? :dunno:

From my experience, always when I 'Save for Web' in Photoshop.

EXIF data is normally preserved in programs that supports it eg. Photoshop (except using save for Web as mentioned by tomcat). Editing and resizing the picture will not affect the data. However, some "non-standard" camera specific data eg, focus point, noise reduction setting, white balance setting etc may be lost unless you use the camera's own editor eg, Nikon View, Nikon Capture.

Also be aware of the latest Photoshop CS feature, Adobe having decided to render EXIF obsolete brutally.

It's still there, it's just that if you use the Adobe Raw Converter 2, the EXIF info is only translated to XML format which is not well supported by most photobrowsers including ACDSee.

hahahha I @@ I @@...thanks everyone...Ü
