Exchanging your photographic skill with future Japanese professional photographer NPI

As a continuation of last year NPI talk, Olympus is going to hold another talk with NPI student this year again.

NPI is the most popular photographic school in Japan, many professionals were graduated in that school.

In their travel photo journalism course, all student need to go through one field trip. They need to travel nearly all the countries covering East, North and SEA. In each country, they need to have home stay (not hotel), experiencing what local people are living. Then, they need to take photos to reflect the local life, picking out any issues in their living as well.

Every year, Olympus Japan sponsored them with our TOUGH series cameras. They need to use it to take a whole series of photos during their trip.

Every year, in their Singapore station, Olympus Imaging Singapore would hold an exhibition for their photos (those taken with our TOUGH camera). It is not easy because TOUGH is compact camera. In order to make the result professional, all students really to use their real technique.

The exhibition is being hold inside National Geography Shop in VIVO CITY for the whole month of June.

On the 4th June @ 2:00pm, NPI students would like to present their photos with the public and share with them about their experience. It is a good opportunity for Singapore photographic fan to have an exchange of photographic experience with these young Japanese.

It is 4th of June, confirm by Olympus Office, they have make a mistake in the date on facebook.

As a annual event between Nippon Photography Institution (NPI) and Olympus Imaging Singapore, the long expected photo sharing session come back again. Some of you might not know about how good NPI is ! Among those top line professional photographer in Japan, the % graduated from NPI is the highest. It nearly became a tradition for most Japan media or studio to look for their applicant from NPI graduat each year.

Now, you can talk directly with their graduate batch on tomorrow (4-June; 2:00pm) afternoon at National Geography shop. NPI graduate class major in travel journalist have to pass one long field trip (cover nearly all the countries in East/North/South Asia). Singapore is one of their stop and Olympus help them to hold an exhibition and photo sharing session every year.

Last year, the reaction during the session was super exciting. Most people found it very interesting to communicate with those NPI student. You might be very good in Photography but you would defintly find it worthy to pay a visit to talk and exchange idea with them.
